How To Make Pav Bhaji

Let’s know how to make pav bhaji, Pav bhaji is a fast food mostly famous in India. Pav means bread. Bhaji is a term for a curry and vegetable dish. It is usually sold on the carts on the streets. this is so tasty and spicy you will love to eat this, start the recipe:


  • 3 Potatoes
  • 1 – 2 Carrots
  • 1 cup Green Peas
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 to 3 Green Chili
  • 6 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds/Jeera
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 1 large Capsicum, chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, chopped
  • Pav Bhaji Masala to taste
  • Chili Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • Coriander, for garnish
  • 4 buns/Pav
  • Butter


1. Boil the potatoes, carrots and green peas together in a pressure cooker until tender, and smash them.Grind the ginger-garlic paste and green

3. In a pan, heat little oil and fry the jeera. Add the ground paste and saute it a little. Add the chopped onions and fry until they become a little brown.

4. Now add the capsicum and keep it covered until its cooked. Keep stirring in between. After the capsicum is cooked, add the tomato pieces and a little water.

5. Keep it on low flame until it becomes little thick. Add Pav bhaji masala and little chili powder if needed.

6. Stir in the boiled vegetables and simmer it for some time. Season with salt to taste and garnish it with the chopped fresh coriander.
